Prince Edward County is Ontario's newest Wine Region and is home to dozens of innovative and exciting producers.

With our limestone based soils and climate moderation from Lake Ontario, we are a natural for production of both Still and Sparkling wines done in a cool climate style.

Wine Matters!

Predominantly planted to Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, The County also sees signficant plantings of Cabernet Franc, Riesling, with other cooler climate varietals ​in the mix as well.  With wineries sill on the smaller side, the opportunity to see hands on wine making taking place still exists.
